SEBO Cable Connection Cover...

Product details
Light gray moulding that closes off the point where the mains lead joins the body of a SEBO 370 Comfort or Electronic 370. Part 1812HG is the factory shell for that junction.
Left off after a repair, or split by a knock against a doorframe, the joint sits open to grit and the conductors behind it have nothing shielding them from a snag. That is the real argument for refitting it: the cover is not decorative trim but the physical protection for a live termination, and an unprotected joint is one tug away from a strain that reaches the terminals themselves. A cracked cover also lets the cable move where the design intends it to be held still, and movement at a termination is what eventually breaks conductors inside their insulation.
Fitting one back on is a short job and a sensible finish to any cord or switch work already underway on the machine.
- Function: cover for the cable termination point
- Fits: SEBO 370 Comfort and Electronic 370
- Colour: light gray
- Keeps: dust and impacts away from the wiring joint
- Part number: 1812HG
- Related parts: internal cable 1833UL, female contact holder 1836UL and cord storage hook 1813HG, all listed for the same models
Second-hand machines arrive without this cover more often than any other part on the list, because it is the piece most likely to be left in a toolbox after someone else's repair. Fitting one back is quick, needs no wiring work in itself, and is the sensible last step of any cord or switch job already underway.
Genuine SEBO, shipping in 2–5 business days. Unplug the vacuum before removing the old cap, and look the terminals over for heat marks or discolouration while the area is open — this is the one moment in the machine's life when they are easy to see. Refit the cover so it sits flat and its fixing pulls the cable back into its intended path rather than clamping it at an angle.
