Dead switch, no start, or a canister that shuts down without warning — those faults tend to end at the control board. Part 6295ER is the electronic controller fitted to the C2.1 and the C1.1, supplied with its switch already mounted so the whole control assembly is renewed as one unit.
The board governs power delivery to the motor and reads the switch that starts and stops the machine. SEBO pairs it with a foot pedal that offers variable speed, listed as 6309TK in teal and 6309DR in red for these same machines, so the board is doing more than acting as an on/off relay — it is what turns pedal position into motor behaviour. Age, heat and supply surges take their toll on the components, and once a controller turns unreliable no amount of contact cleaning will settle it.
Before condemning the board, rule out what feeds it: the internal cable from the cord reel is 6291, and a fatigued lead produces the same intermittent starting a failing controller does. If the pedal has simply gone limp underfoot, the return spring 6143 is a far smaller job. Note also that this number is machine-specific; 6407ER is the controller for the other model in the C range and the two are not interchangeable. Photograph the wiring before disconnecting anything, and leave the machine unplugged throughout.
