Built for the K3, part 6645ER is the electronic controller and switch assembly that governs how the machine behaves electrically. It occupies position 14 in the AIRBELT K parts diagram, where the sheet also carries 6641ER as the equivalent board for another machine in the family — one reason to read the number off the old board before ordering rather than trusting the description alone.

Downstream of position 14 the layout is straightforward: position 16 is the white internal cable 6638, position 17 the 1250W vacuum motor 6631ER, position 21 the motor cover 6679GS. Upstream, the physical control is a separate order — the lever at position 12 is 6621, supplied with the leaf spring that the sheet lists on its own as 1739 at position 13. Because that lever is what bears on the switch, a control which no longer does anything at all deserves a look there before the electronics are condemned.
Faults that genuinely belong to the board include random shutdowns, a suction level that shifts with no input, controls that produce no response, and a machine that stays dead on a cord known to be good. Fitting the correct controller returns steady, repeatable operation. Note the position of every connector before unplugging it, rebuild the loom the way you found it, and leave the machine unplugged throughout.
