Part 638643 is the complete above-floor kit for the Sanitaire SC9180 commercial upright: stretch hose, telescoping wand, dust brush (part 77853) and wand tip (77856-119N). The dust brush slides down the wand to cover the tip while you work, and back up out of the way for storage.
Buying the whole assembly makes sense when the hose has split or the wand no longer telescopes, because by then the small tools have usually gone missing anyway. A split hose in particular is why a commercial upright can clean floors perfectly well and do nothing at all at the wand.
It fits the Sanitaire and Eureka SC9180, SC9180B and SC9180D, and the Electrolux-Eureka EP9110A. Push the cuffs fully home so nothing leaks at the joints.
