This OEM-specification lower bearing plate assembly fits Eureka and Sanitaire uprights, including the SC-886. It seats at the motor's lower end to hold the bearing and keep the armature shaft aligned.
As the bearing plate wears, the shaft can run off-center, producing noise, vibration, and added motor strain. Replacing a worn assembly quiets the motor and reduces friction, which extends motor life and keeps performance steady.
