Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This is the Oreck brush roll for the U2000RB-1 and U2000RB2L-1 commercial uprights, part 430000893, and it also fits the Hoover CH50200 and CH50300. It is the version carrying the magnet the machine's brush roll sensor reads, so it is not interchangeable with a plain roller.
Roll wear is gradual enough to miss. The bristles shorten and lean over, and carpet stops looking groomed after a pass even though the machine sounds exactly as it always did. Hair and thread wound into the end caps add drag, and the belt takes that first, so a hot rubber smell or belts that keep failing early usually point back to the roller.
Hold a straightedge across the bristles. If they no longer stand proud of the roller body, the agitation is gone and no amount of suction will replace it.
