Hoover part 440007807 is the upper hose assembly for HushTone commercial uprights, the flexible section that runs up the back of the machine and carries the airflow from the nozzle to the bag compartment.
On an upright, this hose is flexed every time the handle is reclined, and it is also the first place a blockage lodges. Two different faults look much the same from the operator's side. A split lets the machine draw air from inside itself so nothing picks up at the floor, and a blockage stops the airflow reaching the bag at all. Run the machine and feel along the hose: a split changes the sound as you flex past it, while a blockage does not.
The assembly fits the Hoover CH54013, CH54015, CH54113 and CH54115, and it replaces the original complete with its cuffs, so nothing transfers from the old hose.
