This genuine OEM lower jacket support (Part #36425063) fits a range of Hoover uprights and reinforces the lower bag housing, keeping the outer jacket aligned with the vacuum body. It braces the jacket squarely in position.
A broken support lets the bag jacket sag or shift out of position, and that misalignment disrupts airflow through the bag and stresses the surrounding housing. A sound support holds the jacket square so air moves cleanly through the bag.
