Product details
Cleaning nozzle for the Hoover PowerDash carpet washer, part 440012795. It fits the FH50700, FH50702, FH50703I, FH50710 and FH50750V.
The nozzle is the moulded head that lays solution onto the carpet and immediately lifts it back, so it has to seal in two directions at once. A crack anywhere in the shell lets solution weep out along the edge and lets air into the passage where the suction path should be closed. The result is carpet that comes up soaked instead of damp, and most people notice the drying time long before they find the crack.
A sound nozzle restores the seal. Rinse it through after each job, because dried solution and carpet fibre build up in the passage and choke recovery well before anything actually breaks.
