This genuine OEM Hoover shoulder cover (part #440007780) fits the CH54113 and CH54115 and forms the upper housing where the hose and cord wrap route across the machine. It is the upper hose and wrap cover with the pig connection.
A broken or missing shoulder cover exposes the internal hose routing and cord wrap and can let the hose shift out of position. Once the cover is cracked, parts underneath are unprotected and the machine looks and runs rougher. Fitting a sound cover restores proper protection and routing.
