Upholstery tool for the Kirby Generation 3, part 218089, supplied without bristles. This is the plain-mouthed version, so if the one you are replacing had a removable brush strip across the face you will need to move it across or buy the strip separately.
It is the tool for fabric work: cushions, mattresses, stair risers and car interiors, where the wide flat opening keeps airflow spread across the surface instead of dragging the material into a nozzle. The reason to replace one is usually a crack at the hose collar, which bleeds air and takes all the bite out of the tool.
Beyond the Generation 3, it is also listed for the Generation 4, Generation 5 and Generation 6, the Ultimate G, the Diamond Edition and the Sentria.
