Kirby's headlight casting is the housing that carries the lamp at the front of the nozzle, and part 160089 is the Generation-series version fitted to the Generation 3 and G4.
These castings live at bumper height. A hard knock into a door frame chips or cracks the housing, and once cracked it will not hold the lens and bulb square. What you see is a headlight that flickers as the machine is pushed, or one that has stopped altogether while the bulb itself is perfectly good.
Treat it as a front-end tidy-up rather than a single swap: check the bulb, look at the lens for hazing and clean the contacts, because on a machine old enough to need this casting all three are usually due at once.
