Part 306712S is the shampoo tank assembly for the Kirby Sentria II, the tank that holds the carpet cleaning solution and feeds it down to the Rug Renovator attachment. It is supplied as an assembly, so the tank arrives with its fittings rather than as a bare bottle.
Tanks fail at the seams and around the cap threads. A hairline crack shows itself as solution running down the outside of the machine or a tank that empties faster than the carpet gets wet, and once the cap no longer seals the feed turns unpredictable: foam one minute, nothing the next.
It fits the Kirby Sentria II and also the Generation 3, Ultimate G and Diamond Edition shampoo systems. Rinse it with clean water after use so dried solution does not build up and block the outlet.
