Part ELECIR901V replaces the circuit board inside a Titan TCS4792, TCS7702, or TCS9902 central vacuum power unit. This single board runs the machine's entire electronic control, and when it degrades the unit can refuse to power on, drop out mid-cleaning, or throw an error condition a healthy unit never shows.
Boards fail gradually rather than all at once, and years of routine on-off cycling is normally what wears one out. Replacing it restores a dead or erratic unit without the expense of a new power unit, and it is worth ruling out before assuming the motor itself is bad, since a failed board and a failed motor can present identically to the user.
