This is the cloth filter for Titan TCS7702 and TCS9902 central vacuum power units, part TDFILT64V, measuring 8 by 11 inches. In a central vacuum the filter sits between the debris canister and the motor, so it is the only thing standing between fine dust and the impeller.
Cloth media loads slowly and evenly, which is why owners so often blame the hoses or the inlets when the pull drops off. If suction has faded at every outlet in the house at once rather than at one of them, the filter is the first place to look. A filter with a hole worn in it is worse than a clogged one, since dust then travels straight through to the motor.
Check the seat at the mounting collar when you fit it. A filter sitting crooked lets dust bypass the media entirely.
