This is the short internal motor lead for ProTeam backpack vacuums, part 100641, measuring 8.5 inches. It carries power from the switch and cord box to the motor terminals inside the housing. It is not the mains cord that plugs into the wall, so if that is what has failed, this is not the part.
Technicians reach for this lead during a motor change, or when a machine has an intermittent fault that comes and goes as it is jostled on someone's back. Heat and vibration harden the insulation where the lead runs close to the motor, and a chafed or brittle lead can arc, cut out under load, or trip the building's breaker.
Always unplug the machine before opening it. This lead fits the ProTeam CoachVac, Super CoachVac, MegaVac, LineVacer, ProVac, QuarterVac, QuietPro BP and AviationVac backpacks.
