The formed wire brace is one of those internal parts nobody thinks about until it breaks. It holds an assembly in position inside ProTeam's ProForce uprights, and when it bends or snaps you notice it as flex in the body, panels that no longer line up, or a component that will not stay seated. Part 104500 supplies two silver formed wire braces.
They fit the ProTeam 1200XP and ProForce 1200XP HEPA, the 1500XP, ProForce 1500 and 1500XP including the HEPA version, and the ProCare 15XP.
Because the brace is cheap and the labour to open a machine is not, the second one in the pack makes a useful spare for the next repair in the fleet. Work with the vacuum unplugged and the housing supported so nothing shifts as the old brace comes out.
