This genuine ProTeam bag cover latch spring (Part #104242) fits the ProForce 1200XP, ProForce 1500XP, and ProForce 1500 HEPA, and it also fits the ProCare 15XP. The spring gives the bag cover latch its tension so it snaps closed and holds.
A weak, stretched, or broken spring leaves the latch loose, so the bag cover will not stay shut or fails to spring back when released. A cover that drifts open breaks the seal around the bag. A fresh genuine spring restores firm latch tension and a secure closure.
