The strain relief clasp is the small piece of hardware that grips the power cord where it enters a ProTeam upright. Every tug on the cord is absorbed here instead of by the wire terminals inside, which is why part 105091 matters more than its size suggests.
Once the clasp cracks or loses its bite, the cord starts moving in and out of the housing, the conductors fatigue at the entry point, and you end up with an intermittent machine or a real shock hazard.
This strain relief fits the ProTeam 1200XP and ProForce 1200XP HEPA, the 1500, 1500XP and 1500XP HEPA uprights, the SHV100 Super Half Vac, and the Super Coach Pro 10. Fit it with the vacuum unplugged and make sure the cord seats fully in the clasp so nothing pinches when the housing closes.
