SEBO Suction Motor Protecti...

Product details
Down inside the base of a SEBO 370 Comfort or Electronic 370, the suction motor sits inside a shroud. Part 1821UL is that shroud, the protective cover shielding the motor body in its bay.
Technicians routinely find it torn, deformed or simply absent after an earlier motor swap, because it is the one component nobody misses when the machine is reassembled and switched on. Without it the motor runs unshielded, and anything that slips past the filtration has a clear route to the windings and to the cooling path around them. The shroud also keeps the motor's own carbon dust contained rather than letting it circulate through the base of the machine. Neither consequence announces itself immediately, which is exactly why a missing cover tends to be discovered years later during an unrelated repair.
Refitting the correct part puts the barrier back where the design intends it, and costs a fraction of the motor it protects.
- Function: protective shroud for the suction motor
- Fits: SEBO 370 Comfort and Electronic 370
- Commonly: missing or damaged after a previous motor replacement
- Part number: 1821UL
- Related parts: rubber motor mount 1822 and suction motor 1843/2, which is supplied complete with its own protection cover and a rubber support
- Fit note: seat the shroud square over the motor body rather than pinched at one edge, and check nothing fouls the cooling path
Genuine SEBO through an authorized dealership, generally shipping in 2–5 business days. Disconnect the machine from the mains before opening the motor bay, and take the opportunity to check the rubber mount underneath the motor while everything is accessible — hardened mounts and missing shrouds tend to be found together, both dating from the same earlier repair. Seat the cover so it sits square over the motor body rather than pinched at one edge.
