This bearing shield mounts at the separator end of your Rainbow D2 motor, protecting the bearing from water mist and debris. Rainbow vacuums use water filtration, and without this shield, moisture reaches the motor bearing and causes premature corrosion. Keeping it in good condition extends the life of your motor considerably. Part #R146.
