Secondary intake filter for the Vapamore MR-500 Vento canister, part 500INTAKEFILTER, sold individually. It sits on the intake side and catches what gets past the first stage before it can reach the motor.
This is the filter people forget about. It clogs slowly, and because nothing dramatic happens along the way you end up blaming the hose or the bag for suction that has been sliding for months. Pull it out and hold it up to a light: if you cannot see through it, it has been costing you airflow and leaving the motor to breathe dust.
Fit a clean one, seat it flat in its recess, and get into the habit of checking it every time you change the HEPA filter.
