Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Sold as one unit, part 2764UL pairs the sprung bracket with the switch it operates on SEBO's ET-H power head, so the moving component and the contact it triggers are renewed together and stay in adjustment with each other.
That pairing is the reason to buy it this way. A bracket and a switch that have worked as a set take up each other's tolerances over the years, and replacing only one of them frequently leaves the pair out of step — the spring returns but no longer travels far enough to close the contact, or the new switch clicks before the bracket has finished moving.

Age shows up in two ways here. Either the spring loses tension so the bracket no longer returns cleanly, or the switch stops making a reliable contact and begins to work only sometimes. Both leave the head behaving unpredictably: cutting in and out as the machine is worked, refusing to respond until the nozzle is nudged, or staying on when it should have stopped. Because the two work as a pair, taking the assembly in one piece avoids chasing the same fault twice.
Fitting it is a matter of transferring the mounting position rather than adjusting anything. The assembly arrives set up, so the work is putting it back where the old one sat and confirming the bracket moves through its full travel before the head is closed. Check the wiring to the switch for chafe or discolouration while it is exposed.
Unplug the machine and photograph the bracket position before you take anything apart, so the new unit goes back at the same angle.
