SEBO Suction Neck for C1.1 ...

Product details

Behind the nozzle of a SEBO C1.1 or C2.1 sits a short articulated section that lets the head lie flat, turn with the wrist and still pass air on its way to the tube. That component is the suction neck, and SEBO's number for it on these two machines is 6319UL.

Steering loads work the pivot every time the machine changes direction, and after enough floor the moulding fatigues and splits. From then on some of the airflow leaves at the break rather than arriving at the carpet, and the head becomes reluctant around furniture legs instead of following where it is pointed. Confirming the diagnosis takes a minute: with the machine running, seal the nozzle mouth with a flat palm. A healthy airway falls silent and the motor note lifts. If air can still be heard moving, there is an opening between your hand and the motor.

Look at the rest of that path while the neck is off. Elbow 6088 and air adapter 6293 lie on the same route, and 6014 is the seal closing the joint between the suction neck and the bottom casing — hardened, it leaks in exactly the manner a fractured neck does, and it is far quicker to replace. These two canisters have most of their mouldings in common, which is why a single number serves both, while the larger body in the range uses a different neck under 6318UL. Order against the part number rather than by eye, since the two are similar in outline.
