Product details
This is the blue nozzle cover for the Titan T3200 upright, part B283-1732. It is the upper shell over the cleaning head, the piece that closes the brush roll chamber and carries the front face of the nozzle.
Nozzle covers crack from impact rather than wear. A stair drop, a hard shunt into a door frame, or years of being levered off for brush roll cleaning will split the plastic or break the mounting bosses. Once it no longer clamps down evenly, the chamber is no longer sealed, and the head loses some of the suction it should be concentrating at the floor. A loose cover also lets the roller sit slightly out of line, which puts a rattle into the machine at speed.
A sound cover reseals the head, holds the roller square and tidies up the front of the machine.
