This 1-3/8" metal-banded central vacuum cuff in light grey is sized for crushproof central vacuum hoses and is designed to seat into older-style VacuFlo inlets that use a smaller inlet diameter. It is the connector end that joins your crushproof hose to the wall inlet. Part #20304.
The crimped metal band grips the thick crushproof hose securely for an airtight, long-lasting joint. The 1-3/8" outside diameter is the correct fit for crushproof hose bodies, and its profile allows it to drop into legacy VacuFlo inlets that newer cuffs may not fit.
