35-foot power cord assembly for Simplicity, Riccar and Maytag uprights in the M700, R20 and S20 families. It is a 2-wire cord in 17 gauge, supplied as an assembly with its terminations already fitted so it goes back into the handle wiring the way the original came out.

Cords on uprights take real abuse — pinched in doorways, run over by the machine's own wheels, wound and unwound every day. Nicked insulation, or a machine that only powers up when the cord sits at a certain angle, is a replace-now situation rather than a tape-it repair. Note that the 40-foot cord (D435-1114) is the one listed for R20P, R20UP, S20P and S20UP variants, so confirm which length your model shipped with before ordering.
