This adapter bracket supports the bag ring on Sanitaire upright vacuums, matched to model 7804. It positions the outer bag's ring so the bag mounts and seals correctly on the machine.
When the bracket cracks or bends, the bag ring can seat poorly, which lets air and dust bypass the seal and dulls suction. A sound replacement bracket restores proper bag positioning so the filtration path stays sealed.
