HS6000A is the almond version of the Hide-A-Hose 6000 PRO trim kit, and it is more than a cover plate. The kit is the finish door itself with its low voltage switch, four screws and two spade connectors, the hardware that turns a rough-in valve into a working inlet once the wall around it is finished.
Installers order trim separately for a practical reason: the valve goes into the wall long before anyone settles on the room's finish color. Almond is the warmer off-white in the range, matched to older trim and outlet plates rather than to bright white walls.
The 6000 PRO door closes on magnets rather than a mechanical catch, with the magnets pressed in from behind the face so they stay out of a child's reach, and it seals against an enlarged surface on the valve. That sealing face is the part worth inspecting on an older inlet. A door that no longer sits flat against it bleeds air every time the system runs, which shows up as weaker pull everywhere rather than at that one wall.
The standard door trims out to a finished wall of one inch. If the wall at that valve is thicker, the door extension kit adds three quarters of an inch and can be stacked, so measure before assuming a standard trim kit will sit flush.
