Quiet peripheral bypass vacuum motor, part 1921, built by Ametek in the 5.7 in. QBP frame and carrying the ACUSTEK quiet designation. A bypass motor routes its own cooling air separately from the working air stream, so the debris the machine picks up never passes across the armature.
