This OEM carbon brush fits Ametek Lamb 240-volt vacuum motors and is sold individually. Riding against the commutator, it delivers current to the motor armature and wears down steadily as a normal service part.
A short or unevenly worn brush leads to sparking at the motor, weaker suction, intermittent power, or a burning odor. Dropping in a fresh brush restores consistent contact and keeps the motor pulling at full strength.
- Fits: Ametek Lamb 240V motors 116296, 116312, 116593, 116594, 116722-01, and AMETEK 240 motors
- Quantity: sold individually; most motors use two
- Function: transfers current to the armature through the commutator
