This replacement bag mount assembly (Part #KC11KDDUZR0K) holds the filter bag against the inlet duct inside Kenmore canister vacuums 116.23120410C, 116.23110800C, 116.23110801C, 116.28014700, and 116.21814411 Elite, among others. A properly seated mount keeps the bag collar sealed for full suction and filtration.

When the mount cracks or wears, the bag no longer seats squarely and the seal breaks, so the bag keeps falling off and dust escapes around the connection. Fitting a sound assembly reseats the bag and closes the airflow leak, sending suction back through the bag as intended.
