The Bissell Style 12 filter kit, part 2032120, is a complete set of three: the circular outer and inner filter 2037913, the small Style 9/10/12 pre-motor filter 2031215, and the curved Style 12 HEPA exhaust filter 2038037. Buying them together is the sensible way to service a bagless upright, because a fresh filter downstream of a clogged one achieves very little.
Fit the kit when suction has dropped away, when the motor runs louder than it used to, or when the exhaust has picked up a stale smell. Three to six months is a realistic interval for most homes.
It covers the PowerForce Turbo 6585 and 65851, the PowerForce Helix 1240 and 12B1, the PowerGroom 68C77 and PowerGroom Helix Rewind 98N4, plus the 20Q9, 65842 and 18M9P. One caution: this kit carries the curved exhaust filter. If yours is a flat rectangle, you need the Style 9 kit instead.
