This attachment mounts over the floor nozzle on a Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution, part 1620944, so the same carpet-washing machine can roll across sealed hardwood or tile without pulling its brush along the floor.
Fit here comes down to one number: the machine has to carry serial 18334 or higher for this tool to attach at all. That serial appears on the machine's rating label, and an earlier unit simply will not take the tool, so it is worth reading the number off the machine before ordering rather than after.

Swapping it onto the nozzle and back off again takes only a moment, which matters when a route alternates between carpeted rooms and a tile or hardwood hallway in the same visit. Checking the underside for trapped debris before each use keeps grit from riding between the tool and the floor and scratching a surface it is supposed to protect, and a quick wipe between rooms keeps dirt from one floor from transferring to the next. Storing it off the floor rather than underfoot also keeps the edges that meet the nozzle from being knocked out of shape.
