Product details

The Turbo Cat T210 drives its brush roll from a small turbine rather than a motor, and a belt links the two. Part 7214-X is the cover that closes over that belt.

The cover is what keeps carpet fibre, hair and grit away from the belt path. When it cracks or goes missing, debris winds itself around the belt and the pulley, the belt starts to slip, and the brush roll slows or stops even though airflow through the tool is fine. Running a T210 with the belt exposed also gives the belt a much shorter life than it should have.

This cover is for the T210 specifically. With it off, take the chance to check the belt for glazing or flat spots before you close the tool back up. It is the cheapest part in there and the most likely thing to be worn.
