The clean solution tank receiver is the base fitting on your Bissell carpet cleaner that the solution tank seats into. It houses the valve and seal that open when the tank is locked in place, channeling water and cleaning formula from the tank into the machine's pump. When the receiver cracks or its seal wears out, you get drips, air leaks, and poor solution delivery — symptoms that often get blamed on the tank itself.
This receiver is a direct replacement for Bissell models 4120 and 4123. Installing a fresh receiver restores a clean, leak-free connection between the tank and the cleaning system so your spray returns to full strength.
