The complete handle assembly in electric blue for the Bissell CrossWave Cordless Max, part 1620631. It is the whole upper section you hold and steer by, carrying the controls that run the machine rather than being just a grip.
Handles break at the neck, usually from a fall or from being used to drag the machine up a step. Once cracked, the section flexes where it should be rigid, steering goes vague, and the controls can turn unreliable as the wiring inside gets worked loose. Taping a cracked handle is a short-lived fix on a wet machine.
This assembly fits the CrossWave Cordless Max 2554, 2554A, 25542, 25548, 2590, 2593, 2596, 2596B and 2596M, and the Cordless Premier 2597. Route the internal wiring exactly as the original ran it before closing the handle, and check the connectors are seated before the first use.
