Product details

A geared belt does not slip, it either drives the brush roll or it strips. Part 2037226 is the geared drive belt for the Bissell Pro Dry machines, and our fitment data confirms it on the 7350, 8350 and E600.

Because the teeth engage rather than grip, failure is abrupt. The brush roll stops dead in the middle of a pass while the motor carries on, or it stutters and catches each time the stripped section comes round. Turn the roll by hand with the machine unplugged and you will feel the belt jump instead of pulling evenly.

Fit it with the brush roll out so the teeth seat properly in both pulleys, and pull the accumulated hair off the roll ends while it is on the bench. Bound-up ends are what strips the next belt.
