This genuine Bissell lower hose is the short suction duct that runs from the floor nozzle into the base of the Pet Hair Eraser upright vacuum. Because it sits right at the dirtiest part of the airflow path, the lower hose is prone to clogging with pet hair, and it can crack from constant flexing as the cleaner head pivots. A blocked or split lower hose is one of the top reasons a Pet Hair Eraser loses suction at the brushroll.
