This genuine Bissell post-motor filter grille in gray (Part #203-2456) is the vented cover that holds the post-motor exhaust filter in place inside your vacuum. The grille snaps over the filter to keep it seated correctly and allows filtered air to exhaust cleanly out of the machine.
A missing or broken filter grille lets the post-motor filter shift out of position, which can reduce filtration and allow fine dust to escape into the room air. Replacing the grille restores a secure fit and proper airflow.
