Part 1600053 is the 120V solution pump for Bissell's SpotClean portables, the part that pressurizes cleaning solution and pushes it through the spray tip when you press the trigger.
Pump failure sounds like nothing at all. You pull the trigger, the machine keeps running, and no solution reaches the carpet. Weak or uneven spray and dampness around the pump body are the earlier warnings. Scale from hard water is the common killer and it builds quietly over a couple of seasons.
This one fits the SpotClean 5207 series along with the 2513, 7786 and 9749 machines. Before ordering, rule out the cheap causes, because a blocked spray tip or a clean tank that is not seated properly mimics a dead pump closely enough to fool most people.
