Sold as a left and right pair, part 5559113 is the set of pivot arm retainers that hold the brush roll in place on Bissell ProHeat and PowerSteamer carpet cleaners. Each clip caps one end of the agitator and keeps it seated in its bearing, so both need to be sound for the roller to run true.
When a retainer cracks or loses its grip the brush roll begins to walk sideways, chatter, or drop out at one end entirely. The first sign is often an uneven scrub pattern down the carpet or a new knocking noise while the machine is running wet.
The pair fits ProHeat and PowerSteamer machines including the 1620, 1694-3, 1697, 1698, 1699-1, 7901, 7950, 8804, 8806, 8905, 8910 and 9E00. Also listed as 555-9113.
