Protect your motor and keep suction strong with this genuine Bissell pre-motor foam filter (Part #161-3054), designed for Bissell Zing and AeroSwift canister vacuums in the 2156 series. The reusable foam filter sits ahead of the motor, capturing fine dust that escapes the dirt cup so it never reaches sensitive motor components.
This pre-motor foam filter is a direct fit for the following Bissell canister vacuums:
- Bissell Zing canister (2156 Series)
- Bissell AeroSwift canister (2156 Series)
As the foam loads with fine debris, airflow to the motor is restricted and suction at the floor drops. Periodically replacing the foam filter, or swapping in a fresh one when the original is torn or compressed, restores full airflow and keeps your Zing or AeroSwift running efficiently. The 161-3054 is the correct Bissell-spec foam filter shaped to seat properly in the 2156 series pre-motor housing.
