Dark gray lower shells belong to the red and teal C-series canisters, and 6197DG is the replacement for that shell. It forms the underside of the machine: the piece carrying the internal assemblies, taking the weight, and sliding across the ground while the canister is towed behind you. SEBO lists it for the C1.1, the C2.1 and the C3.1.
Casings crack where they meet stairs, thresholds and furniture legs. Once split, the mounting points inside lose their alignment and air can pass where the two body halves should meet, so a damaged base costs suction as well as strength. A new one gives the internals a straight, sound foundation again. This is a full strip-and-rebuild job, so allow time or hand it to a technician.
Everything that bolts to or rides on this shell is ordered separately, and the dark gray parts are the ones that match it: the complete castor 6095DG, the rear parking holder 6008DG, the side parking holder 6009DG, the plug surround 6007DG and the microfilter holder 6003DG. The foam bumper that protects the perimeter is 6046UL. Rebuild it with fresh seals too — 6186 closes the motor and cord reel cover down onto this casing, and the foam seals are 6213 at the front and 6120/3 at the rear. All of those carry the same C1.1, C2.1 and C3.1 fitment. Top casings are ordered by machine and colour under their own numbers, and the white lower shell is 6197GW.
