Filament is the only thing that changes here. 5010GE is the gentle-bristle 12 in. roller, the same part in every dimension as the standard 5010AM but kinder to delicate pile and to finished bare floors.
It goes into the SEBO AUTOMATIC X1, AUTOMATIC X4, AUTOMATIC X4 Boost, AUTOMATIC X7 Premium and AUTOMATIC X7 Pet uprights, the ESSENTIAL G1 and ESSENTIAL G4, the FELIX Premium and the DART, the CE12 Softcase, the AIRBELT D4 Premium, AIRBELT E3 Premium and AIRBELT K3 Premium, the C3.1, and ET-1 power heads in switched or unswitched form. SEBO draws the standard-grade version of this roller at position 104 on its ET-1 / ET-2 power head, DART and FELIX sheets, so those are the position numbers to quote when checking a parts list against a machine.
Homes running a lot of wool, loop pile or hard floor generally prefer this grade, since a firm brush can fuzz fine yarn over the years while a soft one still knocks dust free and lifts it into the airstream. The wear signal is the same for both grades: a roller whose bristles no longer stand proud of the strip channel has stopped agitating and is simply riding along on the surface. Change it before that stage rather than after, and clear wound hair from the ends at every bag change to keep the bearings free.
