This metal hose wall end is the connecting fitting that joins your central vacuum hose to a Budd wall inlet valve. Machined from durable metal rather than plastic, it inserts into the wall valve to form the airtight, low-resistance seal that lets a central vacuum system pull full suction through the hose.
