This OEM push nut (Part #A732-2100) secures the bottom plate on the Carpet Pro CPU2T and compatible Fuller Brush and Titan commercial uprights. The push nut locks onto its stud to hold the bottom plate flat against the nozzle.

If the push nut loosens or is lost, the bottom plate lifts or shifts, opening air leaks that bypass the brush roll and sap carpet suction. A rattling or sagging plate is a telltale sign. Fitting a fresh push nut keeps the plate sealed tight and concentrated suction where it belongs.
