Replacement motor assembly, part D113-1500, for the lightweight uprights built on this chassis: the Fuller Brush Spiffy Maid FB-SM, the Carpet Pro CP-ULW, the Zoom ZM200 and ZM-400, the Riccar R10E, and the Simplicity S10E, F3100, F3300, F3300C, F3400, F3500, F3500C and F3600.
Motors give warning before they quit. A hot electrical smell after a few minutes of running, a rising whine or a grinding note from the fan end, and power that cuts out and comes back as you push are bearings and brushes at the end of their life, and none of it can be cleaned or oiled back to health.
Unplug the machine and check the belt and airway first, because a jammed brush roll imitates a failing motor closely enough to fool anyone. If the motor really is done, this replaces it as an assembly.
