The Quick Draw wand is the on-board wand that pulls straight off the back of the machine for above-floor work. Part C625-0104 is the replacement for the Carpet Pro CPU-3QD and CMP3QD and the Titan T4000.2 and TC6000.2.
Being stored on the machine is what wears it out. It gets knocked against door frames, dropped when it is pulled free in a hurry, and levered sideways against furniture. A wand that has been bent no longer draws cleanly out of its holder or seats properly at the hose, and a cracked one leaks air where it joins, so the tool at the far end never gets full suction.
A straight wand slides out and locks back in the way it should, which is the whole point of the Quick Draw design.
