Product details

At either tip of the spinning brush on these commercial machines, a bearing rides inside a molded cradle that keeps it seated squarely within the nozzle housing, and part C012-1500 replaces it, released originally under Fuller Brush's FBP-14PW line.

Beyond that machine, the identical piece serves Titan's T4000, T4000.2, TC6000 and TC6000.2, the Maytag M700, the Clean Max CMPSQD, the FBMMPWCF4 and FBPHD2T, and a run of Carpet Pro numbers spanning the CMP3QD, CPU1QD, CPU1T, CPU2T, CPU3N, CPU3QD, CPU4N and CPU4T. Once this cradle wears through or splits, its end of the brush roller sags out of true rather than sitting level. A rumble or knock from the nozzle is usually the first hint, followed later by a stripe of carpet the brush no longer agitates and a drive belt drifting steadily toward the pulley's edge.

Since the pair of cradles work together to hold the roller centered, wear on just one side tilts the angle the belt rides at on the pulley end, and it is that tilt, not a fault with the belt itself, that actually walks it off track. Swapping belt after belt without ever checking these cradles is a common way to chase the same symptom without ever solving it.

Install the replacements as a matched pair whenever both sides show wear, since putting a fresh cradle on only one end just tips the roller toward the worn side instead.

  • Part: C012-1500, bearing end holder
  • Fits: Fuller Brush FBP-14PW, FBMMPWCF4, FBPHD2T, Carpet Pro CMP3QD, CPU1QD, CPU1T, CPU2T, CPU3N, CPU3QD, CPU4N, CPU4T, Clean Max CMPSQD, Maytag M700, Titan T4000, T4000.2, TC6000, TC6000.2
  • Function: locates a brush roll bearing inside the nozzle housing
  • Replace when: the nozzle rumbles or knocks, or the drive belt keeps drifting off its pulley
  • Common mistake: replacing the belt repeatedly without checking the holders that are actually causing the drift
